Nah dude, it was arrogant of this guy to say what he did. It looks good, but saying that it's "one of the most beautiful romhacks ever effectively shits on people who have put a lot of time into actually original work.

His arrogance is not relevant. People dismissing his work saying he didn't spend a week remodeling the castle grounds are assholes. Even if he is arrogant, that's not the point. Still a Rom Hack

I hate how using texture packs is treated as blasphemy in ROM hacking communities. It's probably due to all the "HD texture packs" that were all over the place years ago. The communities hated the fact that people got more attention for lazy texture packs than actual hacks.

That being said though, this guy used them in tandem with actual hacks to make something awesome, and those acting the way they are because a texture pack is involved is plain childish.
