Isn't the idea that the payout comes after? That's a normal practice and the guy has paid out after a couple times before. This seems a little bit hasty and overzealous.

The payout can and usually should come after. Doesn't mean you can't have legal documentation created beforehand?

This isn’t just speedrun advice, this is life advice. I’ve personally known people who have gone into a new situation involving monetary promises that have gotten screwed because nothing was in writing. Damn shame imo
