What's a good playstation emulator? Last time I tried using one, I recall not having a great experience. Things like not having background input, couldn't click off without pausing the game, etc. Not looking for any sort of speedrun accuracy or anything weird, just tryna chill

Simp get medgui it'll make it a lot easier to run/navigate and ill link you to a usage doc

https://mednafen.github.io/documentation/ You'll need to extract the mednafen files to one folder and the medgui files to another. Then you just have to tell medgui the path of your mednafen folder.

Last I remember, mednafen is one of those emulators that doesn't have any sort of GUI. If your PS1 game is in bin/cue format you can usually drag the cue file over the executable and it'll run, but then things like controls etc. are done through hotkeys

Oh yeah, also requires the PS1 bios. Medgui or Retroarch is probably your best bet there.
