For 1 I use Mednafen and Epsxe1.9.25 and for PS2 I use pcsx2

ePSXe has a wonderful widescreen hack, resolution scaling option, and subpixel accuracy hack which smooths out the inaccurate texture perspective correction that causes jittery textures on the system. All optional features, but the widescreen hack in particular is wonderful.

Should you decide to try it, be sure to set the overclock option to 1x before launching an iso or it will crash, this isn't made particularly obvious and can be irritating to newcomers to the emulator

I think bizhawk has a setting for that. I remember it running ps games well enough
