    We move house in 2 days, managed to crash wife’s car at the weekend (no one injured but car off the road), wife due baby no 4 at end of the month. Stressful year this 2020!! 🤯 😂

    Big toe nail expertly removed but my own GP yesterday due to recurrent IGTN. Much to teams amusement sporting a nativity themed sandals look in surgery as can’t get a shoe on! Still managed house visits! 😂Merry Christmas! 🎄

    General Practice is the robust base of any cost-effective health care system. If it fails, the health system fails. So fund it, staff it resource it. Appreciate GPs. “You won’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone “

    . echoes what our members have said for years; we don’t have enough GPs to meet the needs of a growing population, many of whom have complex conditions. Govt must acknowledge this changing GP landscape if it’s to meet its promise of 6000 extra GPs

    Printer in my consulting room been dodgy for over a month and IT not managed to fix it despite several visits. GP is hard enough without basic IT issues adding minutes to a 10 minute consult. Do managers appreciate the stess poor IT causes for clinicians? Must do better!

    I do agree there often seems to be unnecessary panic about a temp in older children unnecessarily....

    Negative trend. partnership model efficient, cheaper to the government & allows partners autonomy to develop services to offer a quality service. However we need to diversify as partnerships offering flexibility to younger partners who want portfolio careers and flexibility.

    Really enjoyed attending and speaking at : some really engaging debate and passionate discussion about the development of GP services in Scotland. We are in safe hands with some excellent leaders!

    A round of applause as motion 110 is introduced calling for support so that GPs can work in premises that meet their needs and are fit for purpose
