The idea is that the video stays monetized through the review process. No delay. Phil was one of the original YT partners in 2009. He has been vetted. The only way he should be demonetized is if YT has manually reviewed it and found it to not meet as standards.
The partnership program doesn’t grant you the right to have advertisers pay you for content that makes them look bad. I run a number of websites & have done for 20 years and they have been accepted into Adsense & other ad networks but that doesn’t mean I’m entitled to have ads..

Problem OR you have to appeal and hope they agree with your grounds of appeal OR just accept that you can’t have ads. The Advertisers are the ones who fund the content so keeping them happy is the most important factor

You're still not getting it. We're not asking for entitlement or rules to not be enforced. We're talking about fixing a broken system. Even if YT is fully legally right, being callus towards their content creators is bad for business.
