If Oliver Stone wants to learn what censorship actually means, he should live in his hero Putin's Russia for a while.https://twitter.com/TheOliverStone/status/979504850634342400 …

Look no further than his flattery of Stalin in his so-called “people’s history of the US” where he cherry picks convenient facts and ignores utterly how Stalin willingly participated in Poland’s partition and left the British to hang right up to the eve of Barbarossa.

We can discuss ‘Poland’s partion’ only in the context of what Britain allowed Hitler do to Czechoslovakia (Munich 1938)

I was not aware that the UK took territory from the Czech people the way the Russians did with Poland. Yes, Chamberlain govt were soft, but so was everyone else in 1938 and they did not participate directly. Beware false equivalence!

Britain was the engine of the Appeasement policy towards Hitler. In case with Czechoslovakia Poland was Hilter's accomplice when they decided to oppose French and Soviet forces to defend Czechoslovakia. What goes around - comes around.

I won’t dispute that. Its not controversial that Chamberlain government were paralyzed by fear and allowed Czechoslovakia to go down. You are also right that the Poles were opportunistic and paid the price. None of which invalidates Garry’s original point: Stone is an apologist.
