The rumor was that the Kindle had something like a one third abandonment rate. Strategically that didn’t matter. The Fire was probably more a toddler tablet than abandoned but either way it was a strategic failure. So, what’ll the Echo rate be, and what matters?
Yes. I also wonder if kindle abandonment is actually an artifact of abandonment of reading books? Wonder what overall book reading as % of population is over time (as a benchmark)? Anybody know?
