The DA demand belt-tightening from the ANC but give one of their own former MP’s a 43% increase as CEO of provincial entity Wesgro - funded by the residents of Cape Town & WC.

With all due respect Mr Grindrod, Western Cape MEC David Maynier did raise concerns about the increase and didn’t approve of it, I agree the salary increase is unjustified but to make it “DA decision” is misguided.
