I am really sorry this happened to you and also freightened to hear how much the press is being targeted at these events. Please don't let these actions deter you or your colleagues - we need you. America/The World needs honest coverage of what is going on.
I was pepper-sprayed then arrested last night by Minneapolis PD even after identifying myself as a reporter MULTIPLE times: Cop 1: *checks press badge as I’m on the ground* Cop 2: “Roll on your side, Mr. journalist.” Cop 3: *loads me in the car, sees my press badge and shrugs*

They didn't learn their lesson after arresting the CNN reporter the other night. This was a message heard from several reporters. They were shot at, arrested, and targeted. They need to be checked on their power.
