    Rather than writing an entire new encyclopedia each cycle, the IPCC could be updating entries in a single encyclopedia, adding new entries as needed. This would help communicate that the core science is stable and settled, and that scientific progress is mostly on the margins.

    Speaking of which, a govt-to-govt agreement including a gigantic 4,600MW coal power plant in South Africa was announced yesterday. Early stages, but this one plant could emit more CO2 than the entire country of Croatia or Kenya.

    Important thread with updates. Huge loss. And worth saying, if ISIS did this there would be full-scale outrage, but austerity did it (slashed budgets, so no sprinklers), so I’d like to see the same outrage and determination to stamp it out.
