I get the history & I understand the fact that abstentionism is a policy pursued by Sinn Fein but surely now when there is a chance to positively influence the Brexit situation and therefore help Ireland - North & South - using your key votes in Westminister is necessary

It’s just not that easy for a party to make that significant of a jump Simon. They were elected on that platform. A move like that would be very detrimental and fuel support for those who don’t want to move the peace process forward peacefully. Better to get the Assembly back now
