    i had to completely cut out alcohol 10 mos ago bc of health issues (i'm fine!!!) but once i made the decision to it was extremely not hard and a huge net positive lifestyle adjustment that i regret not making sooner and also highly recommend AMA

    I watched Children of Men last night and thought a lot about this while watching the final scene. It's an evolution from (spoiler) the neat and tidy resolution of seeing the boat at the end, versus the brave optimism and hope for Tomorrow as a victory in and of itself.

    And the great ending of Gravity... The studio was pressuring Alfonso to "show" helicopters in the sky, coming to rescue Sandra Bullock's character. He said "no". Emerging from the water was the triumph, touching the earth- standing...
