Oh man- or late night lan parties with my high school buds, playing Half-life multiplayer... or earlier, Goldeneye at sleepovers in middle school! Hilarious nights of fun with friends.

Alright game players of all stripes- What’s your favorite gaming memory? The one that exemplifies what games mean to you? I think mine are playing D&D with a long running crew of my dad, brother, and friends as a teen; or hearing my dad’s excited stories of the games he plays!

When I was in 2nd grade my dad and I stayed up until about 2am trying to beat the 4th level of Sarges Hero's. We never did beat it but I felt like a total little 7 year old badass for staying up so late

plus at the time my dad and I didn't really see eye to eye on a lot of things, so it was a really good experience for both of us and our relationship

I remember playing Car Wars for the first time, and the realisation that I could *make* new boards, counters, rules .. just exploded in my mind. I could make a game, not just play one.

It's tough to narrow to one memory. Way up there, however, is my friends and I getting together for a picture (which I have to get a copy of) about 7 months ago to commemorate the 25th anniversary of our ongoing 2e campaign. We only play about once a year now, but still.

I was 17, my 2 friends and I decided to play during the weekend, so we got there on friday night and played until sunday morning. We played Vampire 3e. We use to get a white board and work on the political structure of the city we would play. I remember the creative rush. Crazy!
