#HungerCongress put them on Paris Island, cut off from all communications & perks, surrounded by marines with orders to punish any who try to escape or make contact with the outside. Have the entire place on camera & let Americans send gifts to those who vote with thier states

I have always said that there should be a law that in any company or organisation there should be a rule that the highest paid workers could not earn more per hour that a certain set times more than the lowest paid, That way if they want a rise they have to give poorly paid one.

Perhaps a programme starting on welfare then have them working their way up would certainly give them a good idea of being on the lowest economic rung.

U really believe they go to Congress for the salaries? Explain how a guy like @SenMajLdr is worth an estimated $25MM since his only salary the last 33 yrs has been from the Senate as Sen Maj Ldr he makes $193K. He has not earned more than $6MM total but is worth 4x that???

Pretty sure most of the money they get is not in salaries but from wealthy RW donors, consultations, & as we now see, selling out the US & our allies to enemy powers.

sadly, that would send them to mob money even faster. If I'm not mistaken, in the early years of the country, they weren't paid at all; and that concept was key in the debate abt paying SC justices. and sadly. even that isn't working well.

The more they get, the more time they need to spend it, it would take one less than an hour to spend 1k but at least a day to spend 100k
