People who can visit murders in jail can do just that. The victim’s families cannot see their family members anymore. Who are the ones we should feel sorry for?

He’s not asking for pity, just expressing gratitude. And expressed pain at those families who won’t be made whole (because their fathers are gone) what is the point of what you said

The point is that his father was involved in the commission of a crime that led to three families losing their family members. He also is responsible for letting many criminals go because of his belief in the value of criminals as opposed to victims. That’s the point!

Is there another side to this? Is being locked up forever solve this? I just have a hard time believing that the solution is life imprisonment, especially when we know that it has collateral impact beyond the victim, which is already tragic.
