HBO didn't submit Gwendoline Christie for an Emmy so she submitted herself and got a nomination. Be your own biggest cheerleader.

A lot of women would disagree with you there, FYI. I didn't mind that scene myself, but I get the sentiment of those who did. The part *I* loved most was when she was knighted and broke into a huge smile and it was genuinely like the sun had suddenly come out, and I cried.

A lot of women agree too. And a lot of men don't like it. I am curious on this one as to where the gender divide comes in. There's been a LOT with Brienne (especially the knighting scene) that does attract a gender divide. But I didn't think the history part was one. Elaborate?

I loved that scene, that his pages were filled out and tgat she did it. And those last words she wrote “He died defending his Queen” just blew me away. Everything’s getting misty
