This is not to say that they couldn't choose to join such a federation, but there was this idea that the USA should be preserved and remain united post-revolution, just as a Socialist entity instead of its current form.

There is this dangerous assumption that Capitalism is the only contradiction in the modern world, ignoring other contradictions that have exited for centuries and have not yet been resolved. This leads to the assumption that "Socialism" fixes all.

As a result, a lot of struggles and contradictions are downplayed; they're put on the backburner as secondary things to address. Again, there's this assumption that everything automatically gets fixed once there is Socialism.

Can we actually talk about what a Socialist revolution will look like? Can we talk about what anti-imperialism should look like from a decolonisation perspective? Can we talk about the status of colonised peoples, as well as their struggles and place?

Some of you love to talk about how there is "erasure of PoC" when it's a non-Communist criticising how Eurocentric Communism comes off sometimes, but I rarely see persons actually combating these Eurocentric tendencies that actually undermine Communist PoC.

Eurocentric Communists undermine both the ideological contributions and the revolutionary achievements of many PoC. A lot of you are silent when this happens, because you yourselves don't even know.

Many of you use Eurocentric language, and have very Eurocentric frames for how you view struggle(s), and you don't even check yourselves on that, then turn around and wonder why persons think Communism is Eurocentric.

Outside of the contradiction between proletariat and bourgeoisie, there are other contradictions. Stalin addressed one when speaking on "The National Question" and Mao addressed some in "On Contradiction" and "On the Correct Handling of Contradictions Among the People".
