Hit the slopes on Bear Mountain at Big Bear in San Bernardino county! Spring like conditions, a little icy but well groomed runs in the morning, turning into nice fluff in the afternoon! Lift lines were short all week with painful waits on the weekend #ski #SkiSunday #bigbear

Call it what you will - SnowZilla 21-22, snowmageddon 2.1 or any other name - it’s a downright disaster zone up here! No one knows when power or internet will be restored, much less safe travel on the roads! Hundreds of trees down & tangled in the lines! #CAwx

Trees into houses- this is my cabin with a 120’ pine hanging in the balance over the roof and a smaller one already on it!
Impassible roads due to trees and wires down
The sheer weight of the snow has brought down the strongest of trees
Before the second round of snow there was already 18”- 20” that had fallen!
