That's a wrap on a very short Environment and Public Works Hearing. Not enough about the danger of increased uranium mining— which has already caused irreparable damage. Indigenous communities will likely suffer the most from the uranium reserve.

We urge the committee to remove Title IV, Section 402 from the American Nuclear Infrastructure Act of 2020. This ANIA Section 402 is a bailout for the uranium mining industry and will hurt our communities!

Par for the course. Trump administration officials can't answer what they'd do to protect threatened polar bears when drilling oil in the Arctic National— and we cannot stress this part enough— *Wildlife Refuge* Great accountability from .

Clearing the way for increased logging, mining, and other destructive development in forests will be doubly bad for our climate-- both increasing pollution and limiting our ability to reduce it.

The Tongass National Forest stores more carbon than any other forest in the US. 's bill would transfer 115,000 acres of the Tongass to corporations, enabling logging of valuable old-growth trees in this carbon-sequestering forest. We CANNOT let this happen.
