Geguri is a very respectable Brigitte as well. I don't understand it.
Shanghai really don't look like they understand the meta right now. Running Tracer and Genji repeatedly into Brigitte compositions instead of spamming, as well as failing to recognise the best places to run Rein Zarya, has lost them many many fights today.

Quite possible that Geguri was the only person in the team who is best at what the team needs. Brig/Zarya/Dva.

Their Pharah / Mercy dedication is a good choice into Brigitte, but they're not using them to deal specifically with Brigitte. On top of this, Fuel's Widow play is key for keeping Pharah back, and that can't be countered by the dive dedication Dragons want to use against a Widow.
