One Winston hides & engages hard (then needs peel to be saved at times) One plays with the team (takes more poke/heal early in fights, contests ground etc.) Which takes more resources / puts more strain on the rest of the team? One of those things I can't really tell by watching

Most of the time those teams are playing around their backline. Case study I was thinking of is Janus vs Mano, but applies to Muma/FCTFCTN or across teams like Gesture/Miro too. Broadly speaking most tanks fall into one or the other.

I'd wager option A is a double edged sword. You may get more first picks this way, but you may be the first pick more often this way. I would never want to pair that style with a backline pick comp, for example, moreso with an all-in dive ala Fragi/fusion.

It does seem like NYXL is trying to "learn" dive (not implying they don't know it) this stage, but theres growing pains

Where do you see Fissure fit? He (and LAG to some degree) seems to do either/or depending on the match-up or how a particular team is responding.
