NotE is incredible on DVa. Most surprisingly good player on Boston. Striker had good stats on a poor team, decent bet to take. Gamsu & Neko were decent players on Korean teams etc. etc. NotE I'd never heard of. Thought he'd be riding the bench for sure. Top 5 DVa in OWL. Wow.
And I say 'only' top five because I'm not 100% sure he's better than MekO, Space, coolmatt, and Poko. Could reasonably make the claim that he's the best in the league right now, but it's hard to back up the argument when it comes to DVa play imo.
I know a lot of it comes down to the eye test, ultimately, but how do you personally weigh D. Va stats when looking at the top 5 picture? Do you look at different things for different styles of play (peel vs. assassin, etc?)
I don't look at stats for DVa. I think it's the one hero (along perhaps with main tank) where looking at statistics currently available can be more misleading than only considering their decision-making process and how well they function within the team system.
