It's great to see that none of the "question-mark" or underdog teams totally flopped in the pre-season and many performed well. Not worried at all about the favourites who underachieved, it was only showmatches, but the lack of blowouts hints at a very competitive season.

No, teams are far less likely to randomly overachieve than underachieve in a preseason game with little practice / coaches not present. It's not a roll of the dice. Some might shit the bed later on but that's why I said 'hint'. They almost all looked mechanically sound.
