China has had two world-class, domestically dominant teams since its level of play improved post-APAC 2016: wNv.KR and Miraculous Youngster. Both were seemingly treated as outsiders rather than celebrated as the best in the region, both disbanded. It's lonely at the top.

It's hard to know them when there is little cross-region play with the big Leagues. They were treated as outsiders because they were. Most people followed West/KR, and even then Apex was a big boost for KR. People I know were impressed by MY at Seoul Cup and would've liked more.

I didn't mean 'treated as outsiders' by the global community, MY were in fact lauded for their Seoul Cup performance as you mention. I mean by the Chinese scene, and fans as well in the case of wNv.KR. They were both excluded from the inner Shanghai circle to their demise.
