I sincerely hope that this (in my personal opinion) abuse of the emergency measures afforded by OWL does not allow them to further dodge financial responsibilities to the outgoing players.

Official party line for Valiant is that "visa issues" caused the dropping of their roster, despite the org's timing being the cause. Presumably this is how they can get around league mandates to have 7 minimum players after January 4th, as part of emergency rules added in 2020.

Yeah I find it pretty unlikely considering there are players from Valorant who have been picked up to move from OCE to NA to compete and don’t seem to be having visa issues at all
