dreww is wrong! it doesn't matter how shit you are at video games. if you play more esports titles than others (josh does) and care at all about how they feel over how they look (he's never bought a skin in his life), 240hz is the better option. eqo can get to t500 on 30fps,

it's not about pushing a competitive advantage. that's a huge misconception. you're not gaining anything reaction time with 2ms less input lag over 144. what you're gaining is FEEL. it's absolutely invaluable and i can't go back. for fast paced games it's simply a betterer exp.

i remain steadfastly convinced you can achieve a similar feel by capping your frame rate just below the 144h refresh rate and having extremely stable frame times with no tearing. 240hz gives you the feel of that by making all the misalignment and variation be relatively brief.

steady 240 is an entirely different experience. i notice (and complain, live on stream, which you have seen) if it ever drops below 200 without even looking at the counter.

true. idk to me the difference between 60 and 144 is like office mouse to gaming mouse. 1440p 144 is a well built, beautiful, but heavy and clunky gaming mouse, and 240hz is like. a raper viper ultimate/gpw. you don't have to be a god to benefit from it, it just feels better

i guess sideshow's turning 57 this year anyways so maybe he'll end up agreeing w dreww but dam do I feel strongly abt this. i probably won't notice when i try a 360hz. we'll see. there is actually 1440p 240hz out there already if u have the bunts for it
