Picked up MTG:A in September to keep my hands busy while I watch VODs. EZ Mythic running some red/green, aggro red & zenith flare! $0 spent on the game, surprised by the lack of pay to win elements considering how much people talk about spending all their money on cards IRL.

Arena is a lot better than paper. As long as you're good, you can use any cards you want. I got mythic with a deck i built myself, just because i didn't have the cards to make top tier decks LOL Brains > money, every time

I’ve been mythic pretty much every month since beta and only dipped into the pot a few times for limited prereleases. It’s definitely pretty generous if you don’t want to play every deck. The top 1200 get into a special tournament each month so I’d recommend pushing for that!
