The econ changes are weird, Feel like it's gonna be very confusing for just casual players.

killjoy being able to reposition her turret in 10 seconds makes her less one dimensional, she will always be moving and rotating with her robots now, I like it

You see turret, you have info on KJ. Can't use her turret for others, can't use utility to watch mid or a flank, can't use for map info or control on attack. Massively limited compared to before.

it just seems like a case of balancing around what you want the gameplay metrics to be (pick%, win% ect.), without considering the gameplay, and the enjoyment of the game first. i don't mind(?) the patch, but it's a shame to look at a patch under the light of "coulda been worse"

I really think you're wrong on this one. Having a turret on the one side of the map while you play on the other and forever active trip wires is pretty much the definition of passive abilities. Moving away from that actually makes them be more active with their abilities.
