First Law is fantastic.. I still haven’t spent time to get into Malazan. Wheel of Time bored me after a few. Kingkiller Chronicles & Mistborn are must reads. Kingkiller we may be waiting on Book 3 for 100 years though.

if you thought mistborn is great, you 100% need to read the Stormlight archives. its mistborn on cocaine, in the best way ever. the characters are better, the world is actually in the same universe, and the story level is taken into an even better level.

Have you heard of Stormlight Archieves? We are currently waiting on the 4 book which comes out on November. Theres gonna be a total of 10. Its amazing and while your looking at it you can see other stories from the cosmere too.

5 books into Malazan and I’m addicted. Would also recommend Tigana by Guy Gavriel Kay or Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch!

If you like Wheel of Time, Stormlight is great. If you like Malazan I recommend Commonweal by Graydon Saunders. For First Law there's an entire "wave" of grimdark, but outside that Powder Mage by McClellan is a great read

This is a seriously great list. I'd add The Stormlight Archive too. Book 4 is coming out soon I think.
