Took a while for Shock to get going but they ended up looking very solid on the Hog/Zarya and Zen. Loads of great moments from that series that tell us about the meta and how counters work. Probably VOD review worthy at the end of the weekend, Gibraltar was nuts.
Also wanna point out that Shock's Sombra/Reaper looked quite poor on map one; their coordination was miles off and the Sombra play was all over the place. Justice look great but their comp is bad on maps like Volskaya & Hog/Zarya can be hard countered by good Sombra/Reaper play.
Really interested to see them in the lower bracket vs some of the teams running that style like Valiant and Mayhem. Even against the counter, could imagine Decay and Jjanu being good enough to clutch the win against teams like that.
Yeah i think they should just commit to Striker Tracer/Ans Widow or Ashe, Rascal’s their best Sombra but he’s still not on Lip/Heesu level and his flexibility has less value in this meta
