Just finished the Wheel of Time series. Great adventure and a fantastic world that Jordan created. One of my favourites. Was originally put off by Sanderson's caricature interpretations of the characters, but he wrapped it up fabulously after a rough first book.

Jordan gets wrapped up in world building and side characters stories around book 7-8. After Sanderson takes over it loses a bit of the charactisation but more than makes up for it by moving at a decent pace.
I loved the world building but the pace did TOTALLY flop in book 10. It was the only book I didn't enjoy, it was an absolute drag. There were some dull moments in Ebou Dar but Rand's arc saves books 7-8 imo.
