At first glance, it might seem like Atlanta have broken their "3-0 or lose" curse and are heading in a positive direction. They won a closer series! Then you see that they slipped up on the first map and couldn't 3-0 Boston, and they're actually slipping backwards a little.
It's not unexpected, with the loss of Babybay, but it is disheartening to see. I want Atlanta to be so much more than the gatekeepers of the league. They want more. Gotta see how they perform against Dallas and Paris in the coming weeks.
Thoughts on the saucy pickup?
Dallas seems like the key match for them. Its not immediately clear which team is better, so Atlanta can't really gatekeep them. Doubt that game would be a 3-0 in either direction.
If they play like they did today it's a 3-1 for dallas
I think it is a change to a more flexible style and them losing is just something that happens as teams change style. I'm buying atlanta stonks after selling early this season.
