I wish the community embraced character specific tech like this more. Still find it dumb the devs took out cool stuff like Brigitte's extended bash, and Genji ledge dash tech.

Honestly I've really been getting into Hammond play since they nerfed my Orisa, I'm really excited to learn this kind of ball tech and properly raise my skill level with him. I see this tech as similar to Mercy's super jump, it's a trick that doesn't need removal.
