havent seen the video but i think this is going to be pretty bad, chat in youtube is way worse + this just proves that twitch didn't care enough about owl to match youtubes money which is obviously bad + most people watch streams in twitch so viewership will take a hit right away

Peak Viewership is a garbage stat, I'm hoping one day esports will move away from the obsession with that number which amounts to nothing more than a dick measuring contest. No sponsor cares about that number, and as a community neither should we other than as a rough guideline.

CDL live was promoted to me last night, and I watched for a few minutes. Now I am seeing a ton of the VODs suggested to me. I have never watched anything COD-related before. I think this bodes well for overall OWL watchtime!

Now where I’m at is, is this a move to get the players to stream on YouTube and move from twitch? I know the deal said they could freely stream on any platform, but I would be surprised to see YouTube not try and make moves for exclusivity streams and try to poach from twitch
