We also questioned the call in live time. The answer we were given was that they believed that Spark believed they would pick Volskaya and would have prepared for it. The fan consensus was it was a bold prediction that would absolutely be 900 IQ or the most Pepega call today.
Can see what Valiant were going for with that Point A defence but I really think they shoulda gone with Volskaya again. As soon as that one strat didn't result in a full hold your map pick is down the drain.
