like actually that girl with the scarred face and her dialogue with Davos was the worst moment in the entire show so far, and Tarly's explanation to Bran was so hamfisted it hurt

I was just talking about this earlier. Most of the dialogue are characters talking about how they experienced past events together And while a lot of it it tied by reunions and such, its exhausting when there are few conversations with weight behind them in these past 2 episodes

Example off the top of my head from this episode: Why did Theon HAVE to spell out why he made the choice to go with Bran to the Weirwood? It just sounds clunky.

There was a lot of call back from previous seasons. The Hound’s “might as well be a bloody wedding” is a call back from when bound/Arya/brotherhood met before the red wedding.
