Caught up on KR finals. From EM's pov: Busan—clutch Sparkle DF picks, risky comp Numbani—horrid A defence & Sparkle's Zarya overextending Horizon—big FEED running Doomfist into B attack Dorado—way worse with precision ult combos Lijiang—outplayed by MOATs & grav/bomb combos
RunAway played all the maps well & every player worked their role solidly. Heesu outmatched by Sparkle's Zarya & Doha Sombra but had good bubbles/gravs. Backline dealt with DF well but Schwi & QOQ were MVPs imo, amazing timing and support to make the most of ult/ability combos.
One of my big takeaways from this season as an EM fan is that Sparkle needs a bit more of a leash on him. He's a phenomenally talented player and a future superstar but he seems to have a 'carry' mentality and gets sucked too far in. Mistakes like that cost matches.
