The person you're referring to is going to have his so called career go down in flames.
Journalistic processes and ethics are there for good reason. You shouldn't encourage people who've clearly not done basic research and are driven by a desire for fame, even if what they say has been mostly correct. The sensationalism and lack of checks will do more damage.
