The timing of patches is my single largest gripe with the Overwatch scene. Narratives have been bulldozered in most major tournaments for the "idk adapt i guess" highway and it doesn't have to be that way.

I think towards the end of the year the patches were more significant and game altering than previous in the year. But agree it’s hard either way, esports woe.
I agree with Chris, I'd prefer the patch to be locked or have a minor tweaking patch rather than a hero rework or a new hero for example. In my perfect world I'd only have one major patch after stage 2 ends but that's too idealistic I think.

genji tracer lucio zen winston dva, the game is better when the meta isnt based around one shots are not in the game and a tracer hard carrying is so much more enjoyable to watch than widow clicking heads
