Reminds me of League T T
The timing of patches is my single largest gripe with the Overwatch scene. Narratives have been bulldozered in most major tournaments for the "idk adapt i guess" highway and it doesn't have to be that way.

Changing a patch during the middle of playoffs is pretty egregious. Only Apex S1 had worse timing.

Just wait until Hammond joins ranked here before the season ends, all the throwers and "I just want to play him" people appear. Major patches and character additions really should happen during breaks or early in the time frame.

There's never a good time to add a hero or map, as far as the casual scene is concerned. Wait until the next season like with Brigitte and you delay necessary patches; do it too soon and people play before they know the hero well. I prefer two weeks like they're doing now.
