Dear @overwatchleague, maybe even @SideshowGaming, I’m trying to make our playoff brackets and wondered if you could explain ranks for semis. Is it solely based on wins/losses/map scores from the quarters to determine who plays @LAValiant and @NYXL?
Semifinal opponents for Valiant & NYXL are decided by season seeding—e.g. if Boston wins their quarterfinal, they have a higher seed than the other potential winners of the quarterfinals (LDN/LAG) & therefore play LA Valiant. Fusion, if they win, would be lower & thus play NYXL.
