3/ Look at 2017. 60 matches played, 55 won, W-L of 91.7%. At the age of 36, taking home 2 slams and 7 titles. The mark of greatness is to do something unprecedented, never expected or seen before. AUS07 - AUS08 was such a phase. If only WIM18/19 had played out differently 🙂

2/ We all know how golden the years from 2004-07 were in Roger’s career. However, these numbers are unreal. W-L rates of 92.6%, 95.3%, 94.8% and 88.5% over 341 matches over this 4-year period. 11/16 slams and 42 titles. Not sure we’ll ever see such dominance again.

1/ It is fricking insane for any athlete in any competitive sport to maintain a Win-Loss (W-L) ratio of >80% over almost 2 decades, with just a couple blips due to injury.
