    Our work also produces sensible estimates of uncertainty in the reconstructed and generated samples, i.e. our model 'knows' which regions in its generation are mostly likely wrong. Getting closer to intelligence, right? Very fun work with , check out our plots!

    These days almost all media come with an agenda before reporting facts. News becomes a convenient tool for newspapers to interpret the facts in their decided storylines. I can no longer tell what to believe and what not to...

    It was great fun sharing our research at annual meeting. I talked about representation learning using VAEs and talked about how to guarantee robustness for Bayesian learning. Would love to have follow-up discussions!

    I have been asked by some organization in France to send a signed letter in three copies. I asked whether I could send a scanned letter by email instead. They agreed. They insisted that it be in 3 copies. So I sent three emails and asked whether it was ok. They said I am good.
