    New vulnerability in Cisco routers. Particularly worrying thing is that it bypasses the “Trust Anchor” hardware secure enclave that’s supposed to prevent this stuff.

    Computers keep time using a quartz crystal oscillator which oscillates at a specific frequency. It has several sources of error including manufacturing precision and temperature effect. Temperature effect is wild – Time distorts as CPU load changes or as you send more packets 😱

    As an FYI this was my experience with a previous large corporation I worked at who claimed we were all family but wouldn't think twice when having to fire you. The severance was pathetic. So when it came down to it, you were only family when it benefited the company.

    I don’t agree when companies say they’re “a family.” Family is family, work is work. You can have a wonderful, respectful, and fun working relationship but family will always come first 👫👭👬👨‍👩‍👧👩‍👩‍👧👨‍👩‍👦‍👦
