As a vet, thank you for your service to our country. The defining feature of "assault rifles" commonly used in battlefields is that they're automatic & have the capacity to fire multiple bullets w/single trigger pull - while civilian ones only fire one bullet w/each trigger pull

As a veteran who received a Bronze Star for my service, I can confirm that assault rifles should be found on a battlefield and not in our classrooms.

He is probably confused because he was a Navy sub officer. Honestly, I am pretty sure most Navy never even qualify with a rifle, much less used one in service. Not that there is anything wrong with his service, its just the bronze star definitely wasnt earned in combat.

Honestly, that doesn’t matter. What matters is that only bad people will have guns and oppressive government will use them against you if they are banned. The type of gun doesn’t matter. The more restrictions on citizen’s rights, the more violence and tyranny will run loose

So as a Vet, you are saying this Bronze star Vet poster knows not what he speaks. Hum. From a granddaughter, daughter, aunt, mother, and grandmother, of a whole family of Vets, all who responsibly own guns.
