This afternoon, our office was alerted to the death of an individual, believed to be unhoused, who was struck by a Los Angeles Bureau of Sanitation truck in the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles. This comes on the heels of the passing of three individuals experiencing unsheltered homelessness in the area in recent days, due to a range of causes about which we are still awaiting complete details. These are lives that mattered and we express our sincere condolences to the families and loved ones of these individuals.

my amazing little bro in-law was barely out of his teenage years the last time I saw him. We are eagerly waiting for his release. His writing always gets me teary eyed, I hope his gifts spreads far and wide.

I thought my little brother was coming home the day after Christmas but his time locked up has sadly been extended at least a few months. While incarcerated he's written more than 3 volumes of poems. Sharing one of my favorites from him about Chino to rally support . 💚💚💚
