The winds were crazy and the fire spread really fast. I got a knock on my door and was gone in 10 minutes. In that 10 minutes it went from a smoky smell to smoke and burning embers all around.

the town is VERY very small with only so many main roads to get out on, causing a whole lot of traffic when evacuating, also evacuation isn’t a quick thing. it’s stressful and you have a lot to bunk about and sometimes you can’t get out before the crowd.
-
Honestly that's understandable if theres only one way out. At least you're nice explaining it not like the other people in my replies. I honestly didnt know they had just one road
-
no worries girl! it’s one of those places that is super different then you’d expect it to be, it’s set up super weird and you really wouldn’t know that unless you’ve been there!!

There’s only one road to exit town. Everything is on fire everywhere. There’s no choice. If you don’t drive through the fire you die
