    Thank You President for showing compassion by granting clemency to inmates who were handed disproportionately harsh sentences, We hope & pray that the next inmate to be freed will be who was sentenced for 845 years for victimless non-violent charges

    The average post trial is 3 times more than what the defendant would usually have received if they had entered a plea deal. received a 5 year plea deal offer before his trial that ended him up with 845 years. It's likely the record 169× the plea offer.

    'He laundered money but he repaid it. He fled the country and let others stand trial and get convicted based on Weiss' actions but he came back....' Sure. Let's reduce his sentence. /s.

    Initially (before liquidating the mortgages) they thought Mr Weiss jointly and severally with the co-defendants caused 125 million in losses. At time of sentencing (back in 2000) losses wasn't a factor for sentencing, only for media headlines, so the restitution wasn't challenged
