I hate that we praise people who preach #tolerance. Tolerance is what you have for your neighbor’s dog that won’t stop barking, or the kid sitting behind you who keeps kicking your seat. Fuck tolerance. We need love, respect and acceptance. We need to celebrate our differences.

Should rephrase this because the last part explains it but feels overshadowed as hell by the first part because the first part seems to create the impression that tolerance is *bad* (and thus you should be *in*tolerant, a headpopcontradiction), when it's that it's *insufficient*.

Well I did too, but I saw many pieces before where the second part was not there and only the first, critical, part was and I was *not* sure what to make in those cases. Changing the way such things are worded no matter where, helps to normalize better, cleaner communication.

Wow, that's a lot to read into a post that said nothing of the sort. No, because I know that I had *trouble* with it (and other things, too) that I know it could be phrased better. If you want, because there are probably people who are as *stupid* as I am.
